If fireworks get in eyes, rinse in muddy pond water for 20 minutes, /dance, and contact your nearest Mistweaver, Priest, Shaman, Druid, or Paladin."
I've still never played an MMO, I feel like I am missing out. This year I think I'll make it a goal of mine to finally dive into WoW for real and try it out. I'd also love to try Lord of the Rings: Online, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, Aion, Star Wars: The Old Republican (possibly), The Secret World and Tera.

The game is going for a full-bore horror experience focusing on psychological and jump scares, where the main character is all-but helpless against the terrors lurking within. All set from within an insane asylum based on actual historical events.
Story
In the remote mountains of Colorado, horrors wait inside Mount Massive Asylum. A long-abandoned home for the mentally ill, recently re-opened by the “research and charity” branch of the transnational Murkoff Corporation, has been operating in strict secrecy… until now. Acting on a tip from an inside source, independent journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the facility, and what he discovers walks a terrifying line being science and religion, nature and something else entirely. Once inside, his only hope of escape lies with the terrible truth at the heart of Mount Massive.
Check out the official Outlast Official Website for more and updates on the game as next year approaches.

Hotline Miami is out now on PC and Steam. The game is an uber-violent, retro-inspired action game that tells a crime story with a very stylized graphical style that you are sure to enjoy. The game has received great reviews already, and even got a 10 from one publication.
Hotline Miami is a high-octane action game overflowing with raw brutality, hard-boiled gunplay and skull crushing close combat. Set in an alternative 1989 Miami, you will assume the role of a mysterious antihero on a murderous rampage against the shady underworld at the behest of voices on your answering machine. Soon you'll find yourself struggling to get a grip of what is going on and why you are prone to these acts of violence.
Rely on your wits to choreograph your way through seemingly impossible situations as you constantly find yourself outnumbered by vicious enemies. The action is unrelenting and every shot is deadly so each move must be quick and decisive if you hope to survive and unveil the sinister forces driving the bloodshed. Hotline Miami's unmistakable visual style, a driving soundtrack, and a surreal chain of events will have you question your own thirst for blood while pushing you to the limits with a brutally unforgiving challenge.
This game definitely isn't for the faint-of-heart. Although it looks pretty awesome to me even though I don't like too much gratuitous violence which this game offers in spades. Regardless, it seems to offer a deep experience and compelling storyline, to go along with all the brutality. As always, Indie Games should always be supported, so if this game looks great to you then you definitely should consider picking it up. It cost $10 at launch.

Steam Greenlight is a new service Valve announced, where you vote on Indie Games that you want to see published for the digital PC/Mac download platform.
The Indie titles that get the most amount of votes will be the ones Valve will select to be published to the Steam store! This is a very cool new feature that will surely be welcomed with open arms by all Steam users and Indie developers.
Steam Greenlight will launch towards the latter part of August 2012.
“Making the call to publish or not publish a title isn’t fun,” said Anna
Sweet, in a press release the developer just released. “Many times
opinions vary and our internal jury is hung on a decision. But with the
introduction of the Steam Workshop we realized an opportunity to enlist
the community’s help as we review certain titles and, hopefully,
increase the volume and quality of creative submissions.”
